What the readers are saying:
This is not my first Helen Durrant book and I really like this author. Her characters are believable … the bad guys are really bad, the good guys are not perfect, but they are there for the victims. Oldston is a small town, dirty, with a lot of unemployment, and undesirable people hiding in the shadows. Linda Strong Book Reviews
This is the second book that I have read by Helen Durrant and both have easily been five stars. This book was so easy to read, the characters were brilliant and I loved how the author got the different aspects of the story to link up with a great ending. Donna Maguire
Another fantastic book and the start of a new series following Detective Greco and his team. Having read the authors 3 previous books (DI Calladine) I was looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint, well written with plenty twists and turns that keep you guessing all the way, looking forward to the next in the series.
